Lamination

The Lamination team apply adhesive and primer to extruded products before wrapping them in foil to deliver Liniar’s impressive colour range.

On the shop floor

To begin the process, we clean and prime products to ensure proper adhesion of the foil. Using state-of-the-art machinery, which includes two high-end Luna-R wrapping machines purpose built for Liniar, we carefully cut the foil and place it onto the profile surfaces. Then, we apply heat and pressure, causing the foil to bond with the PVCu. 

 

Manufaturing responsibly

Sustainability is at the heart of every stage of production, and our contribution includes collecting all scrap and separating it into foam and PVCu to be reground and processed through mixing and extrusion again. Working closely with Renolit (our foil supplier) we recently started a project that will allow foiled offcuts to be processed and recycled.
