Do I need planning permission for my Spaces room?
Outbuildings are generally 'permitted development' if they meet specific criteria such as size, height, and location restrictions. Spaces rooms, being 2.45m high at their highest point, typically fall within these guidelines, meaning they usually do not require planning permission. Is my Spaces room weather tested?
Yes, it’s been tested to withstand extreme weather conditions from hurricane winds, violent rainstorms and weight bearing capacity from heavy snow. These tests have been conducted to ensure that Liniar products consistently meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Will the wall panels on my Spaces room fade?
The premium grade foiling Liniar uses in all Liniar products is highly durable, low maintenance and comprises Solar Shield Technology which ensure any colour change over the years will be extremely minimal.
Can I have electricity in my Spaces room?
Yes, your Spaces room can have electricity. However, a garden room’s electrics need to comply with part P of the Building Regulations and it is a legal requirement that a qualified electrician undertakes any domestic electrical work.
Can I have plumbing in my Spaces room?
Yes, but installing plumbing will require planning permission and Building Regulations compliance. It is highly recommended that you contact your local Building Control Body (BCB) for advice in this area.
