Why window fabricators love Liniar
Liniar is one of the UK's leading uPVC systems companies and has grown substantially since the 2008 launch of its innovative, energy saving 70mm window system - including developing its aluminium range, Alumina.
A wide range of independent, specialist window fabricators nationwide have chosen to manufacture Liniar windows and doors, from small start-ups to large companies producing thousands of frames each week. If you're considering switching to Liniar profiles for your windows and doors, this article may help you to decide what factors to look out for.
Saves time and money
Liniar windows and doors were designed with efficient fabrication in mind – and by solving a variety of challenges, changing to Liniar means you’ll often find the overall cost of your windows and doors (including materials and labour) is reduced. Not only can this allow a greater profit margin for your business, it can ensure your team has more time to focus on value-add activities such as quality and customer support, helping to boost service results - and as a result, your company's reputation.
Offering a substantial reduction in the steel reinforcement needed with traditional systems, we’ve designed the Liniar system with up to two-thirds less steel (based on a GGF standard window) – with no loss in strength – meaning a reduction in manufacturing time by up to half and a substantial increase in productivity. This saves Liniar fabricators time in ordering, storing, cutting and fixing steel into window frames – leading to additional cost savings for your business.
Liniar fabricators have a choice of three uPVC profiles - Standard, EnergyPlus and Zero|90 - all developed to achieve better Window Energy Ratings and whole window U-Values than other profiles. This means the glass specification required to reach these ratings can usually be lower and more cost effective than when an alternative uPVC profile is used, saving money on the cost of the glass.

Always* delivers on time
*99.4% of the time, on average
Liniar’s headquarters and purpose-built extrusion facility is located in the heart of the UK, in Derbyshire. From here, we are able to pick your orders and arrange your deliveries across the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland - and we pride ourselves on delivering on time and in full at least 99.4% of the time (although of course we aim for 100%!)
We can do this by investing £millions in stock, which is held in our vast warehouse, ensuring we're ready to meet your needs - no matter how volatile things get along our supply chain.
Even during the worst shortages the industry has ever seen following the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021, Liniar was the only UK uPVC systems company that did not need to restrict sales - we delivered the vast majority of what our customers needed, when they needed it. And when we couldn't, we gave them plenty of notice so they could try to plan around it.
Offers a range of USPs
Standing out from the crowd makes it easier to explain to your customers why they should buy from you. When you're making Liniar products, each one features something unique that you'll be able to demonstrate to potential buyers, helping you to sell more easily.
We’ve also registered a string of patents and registered designs to protect the Liniar brand for our customers’ benefit.
For example, the bubble gasket that's in every Liniar window is unique and patented. Not only does it result in a seamless seal all around the windows, with no hard spots in the corners, it ensures no draughty or whistling windows for homeowners - ever. Our individual product pages will show you the Unique Selling Points (or USPs) that sit behind every Liniar product in the range.
Enables you to future-proof
At Liniar, we don’t rest on our laurels. We’re constantly striving to develop new products and to update existing ones with added benefits, giving you more to offer to your customers and bring in additional revenue streams for your business.
One of the ways we do this is by keeping an eye on what's ahead.
For example, we invested in developing our Zero|90 window and door system (formerly named EnergyPlus90) back in 2017, when the
