Safety Poster Competition
Terms & Conditions
- The aim of the competition is for children with a relative working at Liniar or Avantek to produce a colourful poster that will remind their relative to stay safe whilst at work.
- The competition is open to relatives of Liniar and Avantek employees aged between 3 and 16 years old.
- One entry per child.
- Closing date for entries: Tuesday 14th November 2023.
- Entries must be submitted as hard copies in an envelope to protect them. Collection boxes will be placed in main Reception, Liniar House main office, Cotes Park and Lamination.
- Entrants must choose one of the poster templates supplied by Liniar to base their poster on, which include a plain template for free drawing.
- PDF versions of the templates can be downloaded from the safety poster competition page where you will also find a copy of these Terms and Conditions.
- The key theme for the poster is SAFETY – so please include a safety message on your poster. A few examples:
- ‘I want Mummy/Daddy/Grandad to stay safe at work because…’ or
- ‘Watch out! Safety is important because…’
- ‘Help to keep each other safe at work’
- Felt-tip pens are available from Liniar or you can use any medium to colour in and decorate the poster – be creative, build up a collage, use glitter, add photographs – let your imagination run wild! (Please make sure young children are supervised).
- There are three age categories, with First, Second and Third prizes offered in each category:
- 3-7 years old
- 8-11 years old
- 12-16 years old
- Prizes will be offered as retail vouchers (with a choice of retailers) with values as follows: First prize: £100 | Second prize: £75 | Third prize: £50 in each category
- Entries must be clearly marked with the entrant’s name and age, together with the Liniar/Avantek employee’s name plus their relationship to the entrant. These details will be hidden from the judging panel to ensure a fair selection of winners.
- Entries will be judged by a panel and the judges’ decision is final.
- All posters entered in the competition may be reprinted and/or replicated for use around the Liniar/Avantek site, on websites and on/or social media.
- Winners will be notified by Friday 24th November 2023 and prizes allocated within 7 days.
- A photo session will be arranged for winners to be photographed with their winning poster and the images may be used in the press, in the company newsletter and online.
- By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
