Balustrade FAQs
Can I add balustrading once my deck has been finished?
No - if you'd like a balustrade around your deck, it should be included in your deck design before ordering, as it is fixed to the sub-frame before the deckboards are added - the boards are cut to fit around the balustrade posts for a strong, robust and seamless finish.
Will the screws be visible when fixing my balustrade together?
No - the Liniar system has been designed with no visible fixings for a smooth, attractive and safe finish.
Is uPVC strong enough for a balustrade that people lean on?
Yes! The Liniar system is superbly strong, with multi-chambered profiles providing strength, combined with galvanised steel reinforcement exactly where it's needed, giving you and your family peace of mind.
If I choose lights, will I need an electrician to wire them up?
The round Globe and LED style lights are wired and will require specialist skills to get them working properly.
Can I have an opening gate to match my balustrade?
Yes, just select your gate as an optional extra when ordering!
