90mm Tilt & Turn Window FAQs
What is the noise reduction of a Liniar 90mm tilt & turn window in decibels?
A triple-glazed 90mm uPVC tilt and turn window from Liniar can reduce noise by 42 decibels. This may not sound much more than a double-glazed 70mm window (32 dB), but it actually leads to noise being reduced by HALF in comparison!
Does the Liniar 90mm uPVC tilt & turn window contain the patented bubble gasket?
Yes - every Zero|90 tilt & turn window includes all the patented technology found in Liniar's other systems, including the unique bubble gasket seal for supreme weatherproof results.
How many chambers do Liniar 90mm tilt and turn windows include within the uPVC frame?
Liniar 90mm tilt and turn windows include 9 symmetrical chambers inside each sash, including a core made from recycled materials. The chambers help to minimise the transfer of warm air, helping to keep your home at a comfortable temperature all year round. Zero|90 tilt & turn windows can be made with either triple or quadruple glazed units.
Do Liniar's 90mm windows have bigger uPVC frames than 70mm windows?
No. The measurement refers to the depth of the frame, from the front to the back of your window aperture, with the actual sightlines of the visible frame looking exactly the same as a standard 70mm window - meaning you retain the same amount of glass to let in more light.
Can tilt & turn windows be made into French windows that open out fully?
Yes! For even more versatility and an ideal fire escape solution, you can choose tilt and turn windows in a French opening style - two panes that both open out from the middle, with no fixed mullion.
